Respiratory Therapy

Nor-Lea Hospital District's Respiratory Department provides a wide array of services for inpatients and outpatients.

Our staff consists of six therapists, who man the department from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday

The department has on-call staff for off hours weeknights and weekends to provide service to the hospital Emergency Room.

Our staff also provides outpatient services to Lovington Clinic, our off-site Cardiologist, Dr. Willie Posey; to Nor-Lea Sleep Center; and to Cardiac Rehab.

Our services include:

Holter Monitors

EKG

Cardiovascular services : Echocardiograms, carotid dopplers, venous dopplers

Stress testing

Pulmonary function testing

Emergency room coverage

Sleep Studies that includes CPAP titration if needed

Smoking Cessation Education to our inpatients

Smoking Cessation Program to the public in our surrounding area

Our Respiratory staff is also a part of the wellness team and has a partnership with Covenant Health Systems to provide wellness checks in our community
